Stardesign Hair Update- Curlfriend!

Hi, sorry for not posting in the let few days, but anyway here I am!

Stardoll has updated the star design hair, into two parts: the basic (the old one) and curlfriend! There is also a "coming soon" section, which means they will have another type soon!

The curlfriend, as you can see from its name, is for curly/wavy hair only. I don't think you can make straight hair with it, which sucks because I love straight hair. Its a lot easier to use than the old star design hair, and a lot cheaper too! There are whole base parts for only 1sd.

Personally, I don't really like the update because first of all, I don't have a thing for curly wigs. Second, the wigs just end up looking like the curly hair from tress up, which are a lot cheaper.

However, the wigs are much, much cheaper and the idea was very smart. I hope the next update will have pieces for straight hair!

My Favorite Wig Designers!

So, I am obsessed with wigs, and finding cheap ones, as you may know. Here is a list of my favourite designers. These are not the ones who sell cheap, by the way, these are the ones that sell the prettiest wigs (in my opinion):

✭ Puppysasha34. She is the best wig designer in my point of view. Her wigs are what I want my real hair to be like. If I had the money to buy all her wigs, I would. She makes gorgeous brown and blonde wigs with highlights. Her work is flawless. However, she doesn't sell in her bazaar anymore, but you will be able to find her designs in many bazaars.

✭ Applemelez. Her wigs, though only few designs, are beautiful.

✭ Moiragrog. She's a fairly new designer, but her work is still amazing.

✭ Dissolvedgirl. Even though her designs aren't really my type, she is definitely one of the best designers. She uses bright and colourful colours in her wigs.

✭ Emanvenus. Her wigs are similar to puppysasha34's, but still great!

✭ Gizeemms/Gizeemms2. One of her wigs was worn by Miss Stardoll World 2014, and for a few months, it was my dream to have one of those. I loved it. I finally found one, but it didn't fit my head well and my face didn't really match. However, she is still an amazing designer.

✭ Ilovecristiana. Her wigs are not as expensive as the other designers, but she still manages to make them stunning.

✭ Lindamissanto. She uses around 30sd only per wig, and they look like 60sd wigs. How???

✭ Hunkydorys. Her designs are to die for! I love them!

✭ Sfihoney. Her wigs are really unique and nice to wear.

✭ Illumi_zaoldyek. Her wigs are really expensive, but perfect. I want one really bad, but I'm just being patient and waiting for a chance to buy one for 50sd.

I'm pretty sure there are hundreds more designers waiting to be discovered, so yeah. Here are a few other good designers: partystar66, zuzuna-zuzuna, medory, missmandragora, jade-035, cipria, toxit, babyfacejoo, sweetnytmare, rim0305, misspinkloretta, kalabeshna, and lots more!

How To Find Nice, Cheap Wigs

Hi, this is Daniela, and I'm going to give you some of my secrets to finding good quality wigs for under 50sd! If you look at my beauty parlour, you'll see that none of my wigs are above 60sd, and way under the designer's original price. I've sold about 40 wigs already though, I only keep the best, and the ones that nobody bought when I was ss.

Here are some ways you can save your money and still buy beautiful wigs:

1. Do not buy straight from the designer herself, because 90% of the time, they price the wigs more than the price they designed it for. This is obviously so that they will earn. I never buy from the designer because I know I can find cheaper ones from second hand sellers. I respect all those designers but I just don't have the money to buy form them.

2. Don't look at the random section of the star bazaar either because they just repeat the same wigs over and over.

3. Many second hand sellers sell the wigs for a lot more than what they bought it for. However, I've seen lots more who don't. My best buys were the following: an 89sd venus_prensesi wig sold for 13 sd, an Ilovecristiana wig sold for 7sd, and a puppysasha34 wig sold for 600sc. So I suggest you find these kind of sellers, even though they are rare.

4. Watch the broadcasts. I've found tons of amazingly cheap wigs through it. As soon as you see the words "bazaar", "wig', "cheap", or anything starbazaar related, open it in a new tab.

5. If you are royalty, look at the 'wanted/for sale' discussion part. I am not superstar, but my friend is, and she found a nice, 44sd wig for me through it.

6. Check the National Covergirl & Covergirl posts. Lots of dolls advertise there.

7. Look at the comments of popular games and dress ups. I've seen many "bazaar" comments in them, especially the dress ups. If you are superstar/royalty, check the dress ups only for ss dolls. That way, you can be sure that most of the posts aren't weird spam by new members.

8. If someone posts a bazaar ad in your guestbook or anyone's guestbook, visit their bazaar. It might be worth it.

9. Be patient. This is the most important. Even if you don't find anything after an hour of searching, it doesn't mean you'll never find anything. I have a list with around 50 dolls who sell cheap, so if you need any help finding nice wigs and don't wanna look through hundreds of accounts, ask me!
